I know that my Avatar story has not been updated for the past year or so, but I do plan on updating it again eventually. I also know that I have been lacking on getting anything done on this site, and for that I apologize. I also need to mention that I asked the EW club to drop me from the tournament they're holding.

Just a note, that I had no intention of all of this occurring like this. I just haven't had the time to do so. I don't have an inflated ego and I don't think I am "the shit". I like to think that I am a very down to earth person who is fair to all, so I will explain why I don't have anything completed.

All of last year I have been in my senior year of High School. During that year I simply enjoyed it for all it was worth, because I knew that it was going to be the last time I would ever have so little work to do in my life - I knew my free time would be gone in that year. I suppose I should have been working on my story, and entries to the club I am a part of, but my priorities in my life came first, and my story among other things continued to be shoved into the background.

In April, I got a letter claiming that I got accepted to the college I have been working towards for the past three years. I was shocked, excited, and maybe a little scared. This college though, costs a fortune to go to, over 20,000 dollars a year alone. So it put a huge dent in my families finances. I felt terrible, so I got a job during the summer to begin helping with what I could. Fortunately, I did get a couple of student and parent loans, plus I got a couple of scholarships, so it did lessen the burden.

During the summer I went to visit the school, and it is everything I hoped for and more. It was a great campus, and without a doubt it was the place I wished to be for the next four years. I took a tour, and I know you guys would be amazed with it all, as I was. It was then that it came to the dorms, and because it costs double to live alone, my family and I decided it would be best that I have a roommate.

Now the last day of July came, and a week into August, I left to go to the school. It was a cultural shock for me to see people from all over the world, and my roommate, fortunately, is quite a nice person. However, how do you write stories like what I do when there's another person in the room with you? I always wrote when I was alone, because I never wanted my family to see the things I wrote - Not that they are all bad, but even so, I refused to write with others around.

Unfortunately, in July I had signed up for the EW tournament, in which  roughly 10 other people joined. These people are all great writers, and I admit I was a little reluctant to go against some of them. However, I was prepared to fight them. However, as the month of July passed, my life began to have a new focus: College. I had to get up in the morning, go to work, do financial things on the computer (Let me tell you, that is quite a pain in the ass), and then at the end of the day I did have free time - which I usually used to be with my friends.

Now all College, I have too much to do. Classes to study for, clubs to go to, a new job to attend, and a ton of small events I have to go to at least three times a week. With all of this, I am unable to update my stories for the next few months, and possibly they may never be updated again. My writing has mostly shifted away from these five works I wrote in the summer of 2008, and moved towards a more... eh, less explicit approach I should say.

For these reasons, and a few others I fail to mention, I have requested that I be removed from the tournament the EW club is hosting, and if it requires being removed from said club, I won't deny it. I have not contributed to the club since I joined, and I feel like a leech on its side.

Without a doubt, if I do get booted from it, I will try to get back in when I do have time again. As of now though, I will humbly accept the ban from the club, because even I know I am a useless addition to it as it currently stands.

I am sorry to you all, and I am sorry to my club. I have let you all down.
